Insomniac: Play The Song Poem by Hunter Skye

Insomniac: Play The Song

Oh I knocked down your front door, just to find a chain with keys
I appreciate it though, fill my life with the displeased
[: we don't talk about it: ] x2

Cut my life into little squares, we are calculating
It's hard not to stand and stare, we are disintegrating
[: we don't talk about it: ] x2

Drown all the chemicals into the waterfall
Put up signs that say "Do Not Enter", "Hazard Zone"

Get some tourists to pay for some insomniac to play
[: the song: ] x 3 that we all know

Burning debris, flowing storms in my body
Most people are happy being carbon copies
Smoking clipped cigarettes, lighting up amber incense

I'll stop my watch at 1: 37. Throw it into the f**king ocean
And leave this place, ohh leave this place
[: we will go: ] x3

To a place where streets of stone are laid, I'd bid farewell to yesterdays
I'd wave goodbye, then turn my head away, but I'm still here so I'll

[: get some tourists to pay for some insomniac to play: ] x3
