There Must Be Something In The Water Poem by Hunter Skye

There Must Be Something In The Water

The other day I took a trip into the woods,
Met some friends, And some who I wish I could have ever known,
We talked all day we laughed, we played, we sang

I Forgot to mention, all of the leaves, on the ground,
And the wind, it was blowing, through the branches in the town,
And the leaves we brown and red, Like sinking ships in Oregon,
Orange and green, like souls in-between different bodies

I think I might take them home,
So they wont be alone,
So it wont be the end (the end)
For all of them (for all of them)

So, here is the thing, I don't have much to offer,
But I swear I will share with you,
A combination of what you love and what is true
These finger tips will make the harmony,
As you teach me to breathe,

So, I looked past the sky, saw a million stars during daylight,
Past the horizon, of yesterdays life,
Because of the green and the blue,
The red in the moon reflecting despite,
That the sky is so grey, I'm so glad that you stayed,
Looking through a hazel eye

[: There must be something in the water: ]x2
A combination of what you love and what is true,
There must be something in the water
