Inside The Mirror Poem by Kellykel Keller

Inside The Mirror

Rating: 4.9

I sit in my conner watching the world. What catches my eye is a sad young girl. I watch the tears stream down her face. what happened to our human race? She traces the scars a cross her wrist. And wonders if she will be missed. She looks up and sees me too. She whispers gently 'I know you.' Your the girl i use to be. Whose heart was happy, and whose soul is free. What happened to us, did we die? As she starts to cry. I want to hold her and make her see that deep inside she still is me. She's locked me away but I'm still here. Watching the world from inside the mirror.
