Inside Of Lonely Poem by Joey Mann

Inside Of Lonely

Inside this lonely heart
There is a tale that needs be told
Only it doesn’t know where to start
This sad story of old

It cannot express in words, that which need be said
The eloquence it needs, it shall always desire
The longing to speak just boils instead
The thoughts tumbling like clothes in a dryer

The words keep waiting to be released
Waiting for someone to open the wells
So many memories of a love deceased
To uncork the bottle, to break these shells

So many thoughts that need be explained
Depressing thoughts that make me sad
So many feelings that leave me pained
Then angry thoughts that make me mad

Angry at the brain that cannot express
Frustrated at being locked in
All these deeds it must confess
Stuck in a man bound from within
