Innocent Pleasure Poem by Leanne Aldigme

Innocent Pleasure

Rating: 5.0

Physically mature, mentally young
Messing with others, getting drunk
Everything to lose, nothing to gain
Putting the young dear life into vain

Slowly becoming a nocturnal
Bloodshot eyes becomes more natural
Peers replace parents
Parents treated like enemies

When will you stop acting like an idiot
Pulling some identity that was never yours
Wasting everything in your time of leisure
Drowning yourself to your innocent pleasure
