Innocent Passion Poem by Bonnie Collins

Innocent Passion

Rating: 5.0

Your kiss was the first and everlasting
impression you had given me, that
I knew would last a lifetime

Through the innocence of our hearts
we were babes in arms, waltzing to
the soft music of love, dusted with a
touch of pasion glazed with fire that
torched each of our souls

Its funny how time can surpass most
unpleasant memories, and at the same
time can capsulate the moments that
brought us to our peak of happiness,
but it yet has found a way to remember
not to forget your soft burning lips sealing
my ageless desire of innocent pasion.....

The imagery of your poems always lingers as does this gorgeous one too. ''dusted with a touch of passion gazed with fire that torched each of our souls' dragged me right into this poem, or should I should say 'passionately pulled me in to a pit of desire.' You are certainly the Queen of Romance. Karin Anderson

So romantic this piece. The romance of innocence, love and of course dance all rolled into this beautiful piece. Take Care, Stacey

Apropos title, as this work is a textbook paradigm for impassioned expression. I like the wrap-around stazaec structure...a Collins trademark, it would appear... Fine crafting Bonnie-lass! F j R 2009
