If My Pilllow Could Talk Poem by Bonnie Collins

If My Pilllow Could Talk

Rating: 4.9

My pillow was filled with last
nights memory of you

I could smell the cologne still
as fresh as yesterday with its
hue of what tomorrows agony
will bring

Oh yes my love, if pillows could
talk, what a tale mine would tell

With all the lonely nights that
lied ahead, without any variation
from the night before

Loving you as I did/do only wanted
your happiness at heart, if not
with me than so be it

Please know your heart is always
thought of in the tenderest way
even if from afar, as if my pillow
could talk, it would testify its
love for you.............

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

What a brilliant idea for a poem. Reminds me of the movie Pillow Talk. As always you leave your magic for us to love. Wonderful imagery Bonnie. Top pillow talk marks!
