Innocent Me Poem by John Paul Sam Nkwain

Innocent Me

Innocent me then! ! !

Then, innocence was considered a crime.

But Time, The True Test of Integrity, is a Non-Conformist.

For then, them who were bestowed integrity would consume it and be left with nothing to talk about or preach against;

Trapped! , And To save their heads, they'd opt for cautious silence.

While we, who were, are and will remain integral, shall keep our heads high up, for a city built on a hill cannot be hidden.
