Inner Peace?

You search inner peace in drugs
and alcohol, in gambling and dice.__
You search it in haram money
and music and in dens of the vice.__

In the dead of night you disobey
Allah, will your heart be at ease? __
Hankering after this world will
you ever find inner peace? __

Will never end your search,
will never cease your quest.__
For verily, in the remembrance
of Allah do hearts find rest! __

    Alcoholism and drug addiction doesn't bring peace. No doubt peace can only be obtained in God's love and God's love is the love of of His creatures. (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Robert William Service

Just Home and Love! the words are small
Four little letters unto each;
And yet you will not find in all
The wide and gracious range of speech
