Indifference Walls Poem by Jonathan ROBIN

Indifference Walls

Walls are locks, cemented security,
ARE minds indifferent to songs men sing,
Locks internal which always inwards swing,
Cemented, defend mental obscurity.
Security’s not silent purity,
ALL Risks Excluded, Silent Torture Ring.
Risks show vunlnerability despond bring
Excluded scope, soft-soap cocksurety,
Torture Ring strangles Hope’s futurity.
Hardship Represses Each Authentic Thing,
Represses will open up, fly, wing
Each day towards sharing maturity.
Authentic feelings greatly need to know
Things new free from indifference, self-grow!

Walls
WALLS ARE LOCKS, LINE-LINKED SECURITY,
ARE minds shut tight to songs men sing,
LOCKS internal which inwards swing,
LINE-LINKED, defend obscurity.
SECURITY's not purity,
ALL RISKS EXCLUDING, TORTURING.
RISKS deep unhappiness can bring
EXCLUDING scope, cocksurety
TORTURING Hope's futurity.
HERE REPRESS EACH AUTHENTIC THING,
REPRESS the will to fly and wing
EACH day towards maturity.
AUTHENTIC feelings need to know
THINGs new to let them open, grow!
