Inanna Poem by colleen brennan

Inanna

Inanna

My crown
nails,
bolted,
wires,
staples,
brain damage from a coma
They kept you hear for a reason

third eye
Ghosts come along
intuition
coyote medicine
Awareness
absent of shame

THROAT
A vessel
BROKEN
STRAINED
STORY BRINGS
WANDERING SOULS CLOSER

HEART
Hears and is teachable
Full of compassion
Full of empathy
Needs to be introduced to self

solar plexus:
You are enough,
you are perfect
just the way you are

sacral
Two-spirited
root your tree in earth
spread your seed
By being of service to others

roots
path taken
PROUD FEET
I walk where the
Shadows and light
MEET
