In The St. Basil's Cathedral Poem by Liza Sud

In The St. Basil's Cathedral

In the St. Basil's Cathedral
Mister.Park was probably not.
One can't say for sure how many
Of the Russian churches he never saw.

Jewish are the roots of our churches -.
How to find common language? - Noway!
Tired of the Korean bosses,
But the Russians - don't pay so well.

Part Four of Moussorgsky's Boris Godounov is set on the steps of St. Basil Cathedral. Wen Boris leaves, a Holy Fool confronts him and tells him to confess to the murder of the child heir Dimitri. Everyone is shocked when Boris doesn't arrest the Fool but asks for his prayers.I heard a radio broadcast 12 years ago of the opera from the steps of St. Basil conducted by Valery Gergiev but a sudden huge thunderstorm struck. The musicians, chorus and singers fled for shelter but Gergiev, the bass lead and the cathedral organist kept performing through the storm! ! St. Basil and Moussorgski watched storm and opera from heaven. It was so heroic.

Religion is a birth given supposition. I have seen photos of St. Basils. A phenomenal piece of architecture. The human spirit should be singular
