In My Room Poem by Heart Of Ink

In My Room

I tend to slip away
When no one's paying attention
I turn on my back and I say
Perhaps there'd be a reflection
Of a sky not colored in grey
But there it is again
Won't you come out and play?

I dreamt that the whole world
Was a while in my room
I didn't see what you heard
But I must've presumed
Because we were getting closer
To what's happening so soon
Don't you spit out those words

I feel like everything around me
Is right here inside me
I feel like everything around me
Is making me bleed
I feel like everything around me
Is right here beside me
I feel like everything around me
Is allowing me grief
