Waiting for the sun to rise
But even then won’t shut these eyes
Not even after dawning light
Has overtaken starry night
For when my eyes do shut I’ll dream
And always in my dreams I seem
To lose myself in worlds anew
And usually get lost with you
And in my dreams I love you best
For in my dreams we never rest
We never fight and never worry
We love, and all the world seems blurry
For in my dreams we are all alone
With all the world to call our own
So never do I wish to waken
When by dreaming love I’m overtaken
