In Her Belly
In her belly
shines the sun
a baby dipped in
golden light
a life to light her days
former days fade
as the rising sun
shall burst
into the world
her smiles will grow
inside
across the heart
as the two begin
to smile together
crying in glory
tears will flow
and dry on their skin
as mother and child
are born
to each other.
