In Frenzied Ecstasy Poem by Govind Ramakrishnan

In Frenzied Ecstasy

Rating: 4.1

As I walk
Through
Powder-like snow
In cold
Central Park,

I spy atop
This tall denuded tree,
Two raccoons
Making out
In frenzied ecstasy
Seemingly oblivious
To the forces
of Newtonian gravity

Betting on
Pure lust
As their secret amulet
Against
A hefty fall
