In for a penny, in for a buck
I just have never had such luck
When my very life I tried to end
The paramedics, me they did mend
Existence was all that was left me
Never more to live, simply to be
Way back then I really did die
To all I have even said good bye
Settled was every last affair
Yet I continue to breathe air
It was no favor they did for me
Only others glad I continued to be
Why was my death not nearly enough
They won't release me without rebuff
