In A Tunnel To The End

Rating: 5.0

We were forever,
In the void of emptiness,
Like parachutes,
Safety as we’re fallin’,
Drifting in but never out,
Filled with black smudges,
Blankets of security,
Crowded in a tunnel,
In a tunnel to the end,

Slits were cut though,
So we could see,
But falling as fast as we were,
Why even try and flee,
Glancing at the others,
Walls packed so tight,
So forcefully in this atmosphere,
In an atmosphere of a million people,
In a tunnel to the end.

I here my name,
Someone is calling,
Reaching for me,
In a tunnel to the end.
