Like the scent of a rose
Singing nature to restful nab,
Your flamboyant grace
Epilogues my hunted desires
For as the ocean is to the shore
And the trees to the air
So your outrageous smile
Emblazons my threshold,
Like the purity of rain
Upon the earth,
The elegance of light to a groping mind
So your tenderness prunes my pride,
For heaven is your eye
The harbour that marks my rage,
Your warmth is my sheathe
Your words, my throb,
Like the symphony of angels
Your touch propagates my hope,
Drawing to life again
My thumping groan.
