Imagine Poem by Reginald Matsepe

Imagine

I lived through many stories
But this time
I'm living through a beautiful story
Imagine a star that shines
Beyond the dark
Imagine love that didn't ask why
Imagine love that took time
to ask why

Imagine saying I do
For I can't imagine me without you
I never wrote a love poem before
But with such a tender heart
I can't resist but to adore
And glorify your existence
So I'll paint a beautiful picture
With the gift I uphold

I couldn't read any story
In your beautiful eyes
It is not until I realize
An angel in disguise
Beautiful as rainbow in the sky
I prayed and asked God why
That night I had a dream
In the dream
You were singing
Love doesn't ask why
With teary eyes I woke up
And this is a story I'll never forget

I really can't shake the feeling
That you're not being appreciated
For a queen like you
Should be treated as such
I feel it when we touch
The insecurities of your past
I know you went through a lot
For a soul so pure

Pure Gold
As you grow old
I wish you grow as bold
As your life in my eyes
For a blessing you are
And every time you look in the mirror
I hope you see the shine in your eyes
Imagine sharing the light
With me for iternity
On our way to paradise
