If you wish to know what success is ask one other than i
For if i told you i did know i would be telling a lie
For success in ways can be viewed very differently
The one who is successful to you may not be so to me
Many look on celebrities as those who know of success
Those of money and fame them does greatly impress
Though in good example they may not lead the way
Their admirers in numbers seem to grow by the day
To me succesful people are compassionate and kind
And to help those in need of helping are always willingly inclined
But with this there are many who would not agree
The one who is great to you may not be so to me
Those who look on wealthy celebrities as successful people are not in the few
But this is not saying anything that is new.
