If You Must Be Silly Poem by Juan Olivarez

If You Must Be Silly

Rating: 5.0

If you must be silly
At least crack a smile.
Twist it willie nillie,
Like a spoiled little child.
If just for a while

Or stick out your tongue,
And then roll your eyes.
But don't do it too long,
You're scaring the flies.
Oh, now you're surprised?

Just look at you,
You're a veritable fool.
Ain't nothing you won't do,
And you think you're cool.
Please don't fall in the pool.

You say you're just fine,
It's nothing that won't pass.
But you keep sucking down wine,
What you're passing is gas.
Such a fine lady, all that's missing is class.
