If Today Would Be Your Last Poem by Jane Valdomar

If Today Would Be Your Last

Rating: 5.0

If today would be your last
How you think will't be?
Would you start sayin' sorry?
Or you'll start forgiving thee?

If today would be your last
How should your day be?
Would rain be let to pass
Or sun be there to see?

If today would be your last
Who'll be your company?
The friend you freed to love
Or the one far enemy?

If today would be your last
What words would you speak to thee?
A words full of right and wisdom?
Or all what you regret and plea?

If today would be your last
What would be your prayer to him?
To beg to stay as it was must?
Or have your love accept its last?

An insightful blend of spirituality and philosophy in well articulated, and elegantly penned piece of poetry bristling with sublime knowledge. Lovely poem written in good rhyme scheme. Thanks for sharing Jane. Please read my poem POETIC MASTERPIECE.
