If, Then Poem by Eve Brideau

If, Then

Rating: 3.5

If I hadn't left that July
Then I wouldn't sit here and cry.
If I wasn't that afraid
Then I could've stayed.
If I'd only had the chance
Then I'd take more than just a glance.
If you haven't been that dumb
Then I won't stand here, looking dumb.
If it's love that you feel
Then you know that it's real.
If you knew my love is true
Then I would be with you.
