If the sun doesn't come up today,
I will not go to work.
I'll lay in bed and there I'll stay,
My responsibilities I'll shirk.
If the sun doesn't come up today,
I'll break my alarm clock.
If through my window I see no rays,
I'll end forever it's tic toc.
If the sun doesn't come up today,
I won't go to the store for eggs,
I won't even pick up my pay,
I'll stay in bed, and off my legs.
If the sun doesn't come up today,
I think I'll take a good long rest.
And call Father Michael just to say,
I've got some things to get off my chest.
