If Rose's Were Poems Poem by Andrew Rose

If Rose's Were Poems

Rating: 5.0

If Roses were poems,
Id lie down all day,
Picking the petals,
to count out dismay,

If clouds were dreams,
I would watch them all day,
Hoping the Sandman,
Wouldn't take you away,

If you were a princess,
Like the fairytales of old,
Id ride my white horse,
to save
Your perilous world,

But if my heart was as its feeling today,
Itd swell like a ballon,
Then burst,
To dead weight,

And if you are who you are,
Which you will always be,
Ill be hoping in vain,
That youll ever see me...

~For a Flower,
Sitting amongst the rows,
Yet beauty stands her taller,
than she'll ever know.
