If Only

If Only
If Only Dreams Could Come True
Everything was simple as summers breeze
Everything was fine I could see
I knew I couldn't have you the way I wanted to
Michael was dazzling slender black hair, eyes gray
modern plain man to others,
But to me he is a sweet dream come true.
I tried to move on
I dated other guys
But then when we'd hang out it's like he hypnotized
My way Of thinking,
I knew I had lied to myself if I didn't think I could
Love a man like him,
He noticed me different kind of away
"Please explain" He would say
I didn't want to loose you
So, I tried to deal with the pain I hold within
You are a nice looking man,
It's hard to be with you because I think I could Love You
It gets harder each and every day
When I look into your eyes of beautiful grays
It take my heart to better day's
I miss the way it used to be
You don't feel the change
You don't know I really love you
I'm sure to you it's just a game
What happen to us when things wasn't about love?
'' I bet you was up all night.''
I know I was thinking about your irresistible smile
You don't realize you drive my heart wild
If only dreams could come true.

Poem of the Day

poet Percy Bysshe Shelley

We are as clouds that veil the midnight moon;
How restlessly they speed, and gleam, and quiver,
Streaking the darkness radiantly!--yet soon
