If I Were A Lesser Man Poem by Jackson Hintz

If I Were A Lesser Man

If I were a lesser man,
I'd throw my girl into the abyss of my love.
No regard to parachutes. To hell with making it out alive.
I'd drown her in this ancient sea, With the other ships that tried.
Id send her to the icy depths claimed as my reprieve
And trap her in my frozen arms, Forever her and me.
If i were a lesser man.
