If I become attached,
Will you leave me?
If I say, 'I love you, '
Will you hate me?

If I'm honest,
Will you lie?
If you see the real me,
Will you regret it?

If I allow myself to be hurt,
Will you see how hard it was?
If I trust you,
Will you abandon me?

If I stop wondering,
Will I act?
If I act,
Will I stop to think?

If I stop time,
Will I have to answer?
