If Dramatized On Tv Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

If Dramatized On Tv

No one is obligated to dedicate time,
Of their own to waste it.
In discussions with another.
Debating the value of human life.
Whose only connection to humanity,
Is who contributes what and how much...
To an elitist controlled economy.
As doctors, nurses,
And others in the medical field...
Shout from rooftops.
About not having adequate supplies.
That will assist them to save,
As many lives as possible.

Excusable this would be,
If an episode dramatized on TV.

No one is obligated,
To have their attention distracted.
By anyone with a small mind,
In a big head.
Chased by one thought to have.
And within seconds running after another.
Neither connected to make sense.
Or separate to convince...
Anyone can be so distant from reality,
And could actually publicly admit...
Of having independent thoughts at all.
To also be...
Solicited for their advice to be given!
