Idle In Action Poem by Christian Hudak

Idle In Action

Rating: 4.5

Forever in the darkness of my room
Forever in the coldness of my thought
Set adrift in this mental sanctum
I paint pictures so lucid for a understanding
An idea is merely an idea unless acted upon
So I lay here and write everything and anything
That I may one day wish to undertake

Until that moment, I will continue to explore
Nothing other than the desolate shadows of my query mind
Trusting to one day uncover
An answer to the roots of my own complex

Very interesting! It really makes us (the readers) think... :)

Ah! We can learn so very much about ourselves through writings of our own and those also shared by others! Wonderfully written piece!
