Idea Of You
To close my eyes and see your smile
Hear your footsteps walking to me
The burning sweaty palms of your hands on me
Your identifying smell lingering about
Kisses hard enough to make me shiver
Your strong chest firmly against mine
Just the idea of you
Leaves me hungry in anticipation
Feed me your love
I think this is a pretty immediate piece. You don't use the cliches of anticipating a lover, but express your own, honest anticipation. There are a few surprises. And your last line, well, that's wonderful!
