I Wrote Your Name Poem by Tatianna Rei Moonshadow

I Wrote Your Name

Rating: 5.0

I wrote your name in the sand
But the waves washed it away
I wrote your name in the stars
But it disappeared by the light of day

I wrote your name on paper
But it was thrown in the trash
I wrote your name in the soil
But it was soon covered in grass

I wrote your name on the wall
But it was covered in new paint
I wrote your name in my memory
But that memory grew faint

I wrote your name in my journal
But I tore those pages apart
So now I wrote your name the only place its safe
Carved right into my heart

I am commenting on some of my favorite of your poems. This poem is beautiful. You have a way of communicating a sometimes hard beauty, a reflection, I am sure, of your life's experiences. This poem touched me very deeply. Jon Alan
