I Wore Clouds As My Sunday Shoes Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

I Wore Clouds As My Sunday Shoes

You stole the tears
that stained my pillows,
wearing my worries on you;
you winked at me, so at ease

I felt as if the rainbow
was dancing inside my temples,
I wore clouds as my Sunday shoes
you’re crazy, we both know I am

One, two, three, four;
you had your hand over my eyes,
when I finally opened them
I knew you saved me, I saw us
