I Wish



I wish I were a song
people sound more alive
then how they really are

When the evening is still
is there anyone for me
or are secrets out to get me?

Find me a ship
that forever sails
away from trouble or doubt

I want to go anywhere far
away from the noisy concrete
just so you can’t find me
