I Wish It Were So Poem by Ravi Kopra

I Wish It Were So

Whom do I read
Whom do I listen to
Whom do I keep in my heart
Whom do I worship daily
I wish when we all were born
of the same religion
neither a hindu nor a muslim.
Everyone I wish were a human in heart
who always spoke the truth
who never wanted to divide the land
who never wanted to keep families apart
who had such a noble thought in his heart.
