I Wish Poem by Barbara Thaxton

I Wish

I wish that you would notice me
I wish that you would care
I wish that you would turn around
And realize i was there
I wish that you would listen
Or atleast that you could hear
Blood flows from adrenaline
Hearts beat in fear
I wish that you could feel how it hurt to say good-bye
You would never laugh again
You would only cry
I wish that you could smell the tears
Upon my salty face
I wish that you would make me laugh
So there would be no trace
I wish that you were here for the sensations that you missed
We started with hello
And we ended with a kiss.
