I wish, I had a smile
for each day
all I felt was pain
and sorry not any more
could I take the pain

I wish, I'd seen sun light
in the dark corner of life
where I was
all I felt was pain
I wish..

I closed my eyes
still saw fear
in little joys
I learnt the way of life

I stood by my own
everywhere I went
I was alone
and never did I realize
what a happy life looked like

amidst all walks of life
I did try a smile
but sorry,
not anymore could I take the pain..
