You say your heart is sore
You have been hurt by so and so
I will wait till it's whole
When you can no longer feel the holes
Poked by so and so

Love is the last word you want to hear
But I'll wait for you I'll be here
I'll stay close, I'll be near
So you can hold on to me
As you rise again

I know you said you wont
Take that road again
So i've taken the liberty of
Shining the light
I will wait for you
Walk with you

Suffocate your fears
Bury your past
For you haven't passed
Here with me by your side
I will wait for you

If you stop along the way
It's a long way ahead
But i want you to know
It won't be the wrong way
