I Will Be Me Poem by Amity Willows

I Will Be Me

I will take my own path,
I will find my peace at last,
I will take my army and knock,
Knock on troubles door,
I never have before.
I am who I am,
I will not change again,
I don’t care what you say,
I will not change, today or next day.
You can push me around,
And I will leave.
You can tell me what to do,
But it won’t help you,
To change me.
I am who I am,
I will not change again,
I will be me,
For eternity.

Great work! That poem was heaps strong. Yeah, it's better to be yourself. I used to change for ppl but now I don't and I feel betta for it.
