Hide Away Poem by Amity Willows

Hide Away

You hide your face in a book,
You dry your tears on the pages,
You hide away in your fairy tales,
And we don’t know how to find you.

You were alone, so very alone,
And we were there to guide you,
But you ran from the world,
And you hid in the pages,
Of your fairy tale books.

Mary, we miss you,
It’s time to come out now,
Time to show your face to the world,
Mary, we miss you, and we wish you,
The best of luck.
