I Want You Hear Me Out Poem by katelin offord harper

I Want You Hear Me Out

I want you to hear me out.
I do not want you to start on your problems
I have heard enough

I need a friend or at least someone to talk to
But no matter what I say
You won't listen to me
I have started to go through this
Pain all by myself

I want you to hear me out
I have listened to you
So now its my turn to speak
I have cried myself to sleep
Trying to get these horrible feelings
and thoughts out of my head

But you won't hear me out
So I don't know what the best thing to do is
You said you would listen
But everytime I open my mouth
Your words come out instead of mine

So when are you going to hear me out
I can't imagne the horror
Of myself in a few years
Because you won't listen to me

So please close your mouth
And let me speak
For a change
Instead of me giving the advice
You start giving it instead
