I want to live forever
in the promises God made
the gift of life eternal
when this life does fade;
In the glory of His being
in the beauty of His word
hearing heaven's music
of songs I've never heard;
In the shelter of His love
in peace that will prevail
where air is pure and clean
and its perfume never stale;
Where forgiveness is the norm
where my brethren dwell
where truth is in abundance
that bodes the spirit well.
I want to live forever
in the mountain of our King
with my fellow servants
that will cause all earth to sing!
