I Want To Be Like That Poem by elias galvez

I Want To Be Like That

i want to be, like that.
like everything the ego of my eye tastes
i want to be like you,
 like them,
but i will never be unlike me...
but i want to be like that... like you, like them.
so i am.., i think,
nothing , but a mind,
a life,
their shaman,
her lover,
nothing, but a wrethched peon
forging steel through my bones
braiding will through their minds
but i still want to be.....
like Ai Wei Wei, that tiger breasted throat,
That baritone abode of the red dragon
i want to be like that.
but im nothing, but a little fish
mining diamonds in their minds,
 moulding steel in their bones
but i want to be like you, like them
but i will never be unlike me,
but i want to be like that..
playing hopscotch across the rainbow,
sommersaulting over the moon dazzling ambrosia
so, i am....
i think,
nothing, but an id,
a confined anima,
drilling courage in my spleen
planting iron in their veins...
breathing fire through her womb,
steadfast....in my step as i climb my mountain
but i still want to be like you, like them, like that
so i am...
i think,
nothing, but a little sapien
with a pride of loins
forging steel through their bones
mining diamonds in their minds
spitting fire from my eyes
like you, like them,
like that...i
