Cnn Africa Poem by elias galvez

Cnn Africa

tendzr child, while i  dhrank a cold beer you lay dying.
agonizing humbly,  quietly looking into mamas helpless eyes,
as i laughed and drank my cold beers.
she smelled death lurking in your inyour bones as your gaze melted stars,
as i talked art and drank cold beers,
you surrenderd embracing the final hour, in endless minutes, waiting on the hour,
disdaining time, despising ambrosia, serious in
waiting on the final hour as i drank my cold beers.
i did not see you, i did not know, but i know you now.
you are not alone for i cried today,
i mourned your humble surrender
i saw your bed i saw your mother, i saw your eyes, i saw her weeping,
she cooed like a dove over your giant eyes,  staring, you were tired, but nodded in the final hour.
i was drinking at the silly bar, talking nonsense about art and make believe,
about changing the world and protecting the sky..
as you waited on me, you were saying your last goodbye.
but i'll come to the motherland, to write you a poem in the red dust, to see your mother and make her laugh, well sing your songs and makz believe..ill guard yoour memory as a brave who embraced death with life.
