I try to make myself forget
The way you smell,
How your chest feels
Under my fingertips
The unique way you taste.
How you made me feel sexy
Naked in broad daylight.
I spend hours forcing my mind
To picture any other guy
But all that comes is you.
Keep finding myself
Lost in fantasies where you
Show up at my door,
Or simply give me a call.
Keep trying to make myself
Hate you while searching for your face
Attempts to convince my heart
I don’t know you that well
And what I feel is lust
But my heart screams back
It’s the beginning of love.
