If love is just just but illusion
Why do I miss you so much?
Why do I feel nostalgic yet ecstatic
If love is not love, why do birds sing lullabys?
Why does my heart race at the sight of you?

I think I am enchanted
I never knew how I fell for you
So I decided to hide it in a poem
Sometimes I wonder if you catch the vibe
Trust me, this is not a norm

I know its complicated, but...
Maybe you could wink or reply somehow
But, if you choose not to ease my pain
I'll still love you forever
For true love they say; it never dies...
