I Still Remember Poem by Andy Procter

I still remember that day when I first met her.
She was little and had a gorgeous face which I used to stare.
Day by day, I started to fall in love with her.
I was glad for every moment and felt like a free bird.

I still remember every perfect day that begins after I saw her.
Every day and night became so special to me more than to her.
I did try to talk with her but never had a perfect chance.
I always used to sit next to her, so I could take a glance.

I still remember that day when I was livid at her.
Even a day when I understood her feelings and realized my error.
I hated myself for the rage that I had, and my outlook others hate.
Every single moment that I spent looking at her became my life's fate.

I still remember that day, when I stayed late at night, looking at the stars.
Conceiving the things that were going to happen in a few years.
It was amazing to see her; whenever and wherever she goes.
My heart seemed to open broader in front of her, so I never tried to close.

I still remember that day when we went to picnic together.
I had always found something on her which was precious than a treasure.
I just stayed a few years with her, but I still have a bag full of memories.
Every time I close my eyes and open, she is the only one I always see.

I still remember that last day of school, when I missed her and other friends.
Also, the day when I did not have a chance to apologize and make amends.
I still feel repentant for everything that happened in the past.
But I still do know that it's just a beginning and not yet the last.

I still remember that last day, when I again saw her beautiful face.
She was the only girl, who could beat me, and I was a guy who failed her to chase.
I still remember that day, when she said she has a love for someone but not me.
I never felt betrayed because her beautiful smile was enough, which I always wanted to see.
