I Saw Hunger! Poem by Amos Motlanthe

I Saw Hunger!

Rating: 5.0

His bill of right says flowers
to my childrens children
four Plays Completed and intrduced
I Don't like Chocolate!

When I saw her
from a distance...
I saw hunger
But she is the mother
of my child
Tiara
fair and wise
moonlight!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
this poem was found after I saw the mother of my child coming from a distance after work late in the afternoon, as soon as I saw her I felt a downfall and poverty. I then went to meet her close and I felt something saying this person is hungry, but we are having some difficulties which are leading to an end in our relationship, I just hope that she lives better without starvation.
