I Said To Death Poem by Rachel Aurelien

I Said To Death

Will you walk with me in my valley?
And listen to the cries that loved me
Would you hold me when it hurts to hear?
Can you touch their heart to remove their pain?
Hold their tears and show them to rejoice in the life I lived
Tell them I love them without a whimper in your voice
Say goodbye on my behalf without my tears

When it's their time to walk in their own valley
Will they see my broken heart shattered pieces along the way?
Will they see the puddles of my tears?
Can you comfort them when it hurts to see and hear?
Will the echoed cries be too much?
Would you be able to shield their knees from the grieving fall?
Can you hold them when their loved ones cry out?
Show them the poem I wrote on the wall of my valley
